Semester course; 2 clinic hours (180 clinic contact hours). 2 credits. Prerequisite: NURS 752 or by permission of the instructor. The practicum course is the culminating experience for the family nurse practitioner student and focuses on skill refinement with increasing responsibility in the delivery of primary care to families through precepted practicum experiences and faculty-supervised competency assessment. Graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
