Semester course; 2 clinic hours (180 clinic contact hours). 2 credits. Prerequisite: NURS 737 or by permission of the instructor. The practicum course is the culminating experience for the adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner student and focuses on skill refinement with increasing responsibility in the delivery of acute care across the adult lifespan through precepted practicum experiences and faculty-supervised competency assessment. Graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
