Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered hybrid). 3 credits. Prerequisite: NURS 674 or by permission of the instructor. The course expands on adult-gerontology acute care considerations through systematic exploration of acute and complex health issues. Students will increase knowledge and decision-making skills to manage complex comorbid conditions, disease progression and associated exacerbations from adolescence through geriatrics.
