Catalog description

Semester course; 2 clinic hours (180 clinic contact hours). 2 credits. Prerequisite: NURS 741 or by permission of the instructor. The course provides opportunities for students to expand on their competencies as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner student through faculty supervised practicum experiences with a preceptor. Students will provide high quality, safe, collaborative and ethical care. Graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
