Family Primary Care Practicum II.

Catalog description

Semester course; 2 clinic hours (180 clinic contact hours). 2 credits. Prerequisites: NURS 735 and 692 , or by permission of the instructor. The course provides an opportunity to progress as a family nurse practitioner student through practicum experiences. Builds on prior course and clinical knowledge to improve critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning in the clinical setting. Students work with clinical preceptors to improve their clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of the health system. Graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
