Catalog description

Semester course; 2 clinic hours (180 clinic contact hours). 2 credits. Prerequisite: NURS 713 or by permission of the instructor. The course builds on the skills of diagnosis and management of individuals with acute and/or chronic disorders across the adult lifespan through faculty-supervised clinical experiences with a preceptor. The course provides opportunities to perform comprehensive evaluations and ongoing care. Graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
