Semester course; 2 lecture hours (hybrid). 2 credits. Prerequisite: NURS 655 or by permission of the instructor. Concurrent prerequisite: NURS 723 . The course builds on advanced pharmacologic concepts and principles for the safe and effective therapeutic management across the lifespan for advanced nursing practice. Focuses on drug categories and the relationship between drugs and the physiological/pathological response in the management of complex health problems.
