Advanced Pathophysiology II.

Catalog description

Semester course; 2 lecture hours (delivered hybrid). 2 credits. Prerequisite: NURS 654 or by permission of the instructor. Concurrent prerequisite: NURS 724 . The course builds on the biological and pathophysiological foundations of health problems across the lifespan to guide advanced nursing practice. Examines biologic and physiologic states underlying selected health risks and problems. Integrates advanced scientific knowledge and builds a holistic evidence-based foundation for critically appraising health data to identify disease states and interdependencies between biologic and physiologic systems.
