Semester course; 1 lecture hour (delivered online). 1 credit. Prerequisite: NURS 748 or by permission of the instructor. The course requires students to synthesize knowledge from nursing and other disciplines to analyze and address complex system problems encountered by nurses in advanced specialty practice roles. Emphasis is placed on the integration of the knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired in previous coursework, and applying this learning in complex system focused administrative decision-making. Graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
