Semester course; 1 lecture hour (delivered online). 1 credit. Prerequisites: NURS 670 and NURS 671 , or NURS 686 and 687 , or by permission of the instructor. The course requires students to synthesize knowledge from nursing and other disciplines to analyze and address system problems encountered by nurses in advanced specialty practice roles. Emphasis is placed on the integration of the knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired in previous coursework, and applying this learning in system focused administrative decision-making. Graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
