Semester course; 1 laboratory hour (40 laboratory contact hours, delivered hybrid). 1 credit. Prerequisite: NURS 726 or by permission of the instructor. The course provides the nurse practitioner student with experiences that allow them to demonstrate their readiness to enter the clinical setting. Emphasis is placed on the integration of the knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired in previous coursework, and applying this learning in patient focused decision-making. Graded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
