Catalog description

Semester course; 2 lecture hours (delivered hybrid). 2 credits. Concurrent prerequisite: NURS 654 . Enrollment is restricted to students admitted to the graduate program or by permission of the instructor. The course introduces advanced pharmacologic concepts and principles for the safe and effective therapeutic management across the lifespan for advanced nursing practice. Focuses on drug categories and the relationship between drugs and the physiological/pathological response in the management of common health problems.
