Advanced Pathophysiology I.

Semester course; 2 lecture hours (delivered hybrid). 2 credits. Concurrent prerequisite: NURS 655 . Enrollment is restricted to students admitted to the graduate program or by permission of the instructor. The course introduces the biological and pathophysiological foundations of health problems across the lifespan to guide advanced nursing practice. Examines biologic and physiologic states underlying selected health risks and problems. Introduces advanced scientific knowledge and builds a holistic evidence-based foundation for critically appraising health data to identify disease states.
