Semester course; 4 lecture hours. 4 credits. Concurrent prerequisite: NURS 504 . Focuses on advanced nursing assessment and the design and delivery of evidence-based, culturally relevant health promotion and disease prevention strategies for individuals across the lifespan. Applies theories, concepts and research findings related to health promotion, health protection and disease prevention as a basis for clinical decision-making with child, adolescent and adult patients and their families within a variety of care settings.
