Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. Prerequisite: MATH 310 or by permission of the instructor. The algebra of matrices, the theory of finite dimensional vector spaces and the basic results concerning eigenvectors and eigenvalues, with particular attention to applications, such as for use in AI.
