Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). An interdisciplinary course that empowers all VCU undergraduate students to explore meaningful career paths through real-world experiences and personal reflection. Taught by interdisciplinary faculty, students apply interdisciplinary principles from life design and design thinking to align their unique strengths and goals with professional opportunities. Students engage in short-term micro-internships where they learn to leverage their diverse academic backgrounds for a creative and transformative future across multiple fields. Depending on placement, students may also engage in on-site work with their micro-internship as part of the course experience.
