Gender, Sexuality, and Public Policy.

Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. The course will provide students with a historic and contemporary understanding of the laws, policies and politics surrounding gender and sexuality in the United States. Students will understand how law and public policy have impacted the lives of women and LGBTQ+ people in the U.S. as well as the political dynamics surrounding the legal regulation of issues related to gender and sexuality.
