Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. The course employs linguistic theories and sociolinguistic perspectives to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence, language and society. Students will investigate language biases in AI technologies, engage in critical discourse analysis and examine the ethical implications of AI in societal contexts. Crosslisted as: ANTH 336 .
