Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. Prerequisite: FIRE 540 . Study of advanced financial data analytics and its applications in cutting-edge finance research and industry practices. Students will develop sophisticated skills in collecting, processing and interpreting complex financial datasets, including traditional, alternative and big data sources. The course emphasizes the application of advanced statistical methods, machine learning techniques and computational tools to solve real-world financial problems and contribute to academic research.
