Catalog description

Semester course; 4.5 studio hours. 3 credits. Prerequisites: FASH 201 , FASH 203 and FASH 204 . Enrollment is restricted to students majoring in the B.F.A. in Fashion with a concentration in fashion design. The course is designed to instruct the student in the advanced skills, techniques and applications of patternmaking, garment construction and garment specifications, as well as demonstrate traditional/contemporary tailoring techniques. Students will also be introduced to evaluation guidelines for analyzing finished garments.
