Semester course; 1 lecture hour. 1 credit. May be repeated for a maximum of two credits toward graduation. The course exposes students to current research areas in epidemiology, featuring presentations from faculty, students and collaborators. In the fall semester, seminars focus on the department’s full range of research activities, highlighting major departmental emphases. In the spring semester, the series shifts to themed seminars centered on emerging trends and evolving knowledge in epidemiology, providing insight into high-impact topics and cutting-edge developments. The course is designed to give students broad exposure to departmental work while fostering engagement with timely and topical research in the field.
