Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. Engineers are often required to provide input toward the development of contracts and other legal documents as part of overall business operations. This course provides fundamental tools that will aid student understanding of operations at the interface of technology and legal considerations. The course will also include additional content in the review of negotiation methods related to contract development and advancement of business objectives.
