Foundations of Robotic Programming.

Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. Prerequisites: CMSC 254 and ENGR 261 with a minimum grade of C. A practical introduction to programming robotic systems at both the low-level (embedded) and high-level (Robot Operating System) layers. The course guides students through configuring and programming microcontrollers, interfacing with sensors and actuators, and building simple yet robust robot applications using Python and ROS.
