Vibe Coding with AI.

Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. The course is designed for students who are ready to move from learning about AI to building with AI. Students will engage with the emerging practice of vibe coding, a natural language–driven way of developing software and applications with AI tools. The course emphasizes project design, prototyping and implementation of AI systems across a variety of domains. Students will learn how to design AI-driven projects, integrate generative AI into practical workflows and critically evaluate the opportunities and limitations of AI-assisted coding. Through a combination of lectures, labs and collaborative projects, students will gain hands-on experience in building functional prototypes using accessible AI coding platforms. The course culminates in a final design project where students design and implement an AI application of their choice.
