Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. The course is a broad introduction to the field of engineering: the practical use of natural science for the benefit of humanity. The course contains modules covering general engineering topics, biomedical engineering, chemical and life science engineering, electrical and computer engineering and mechanical and nuclear engineering. Students successfully completing the course will have a broad understanding of the foundational principles of the various fields of engineering.
