Principles of Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health.

Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. Enrollment is restricted to students with a minimum of 60 credit hours (junior or senior standing) or graduate students. Non-degree seeking students may enroll in this course with permission of instructor. The course provides an introduction to issues related to infant and early childhood mental health. Parent-child attachment, risk, resilience, assessment and intervention strategies will be discussed through the lens of relationship-based practice.
