Clinical General Practice Dentistry.

Catalog description

Yearlong course; 19.5 clinic hours. 13 credits. Clinic time may be weekly, in block rotation or variable schedule. Enrollment is restricted to fourth-year dental students. Course encompasses all clinical patient care instruction within the School of Dentistry group practices. This course is designed to enhance the student’s clinical experience in patient management, treatment planning, utilization of dental auxiliaries, consultation with other health care professionals and referral to appropriate dental specialists. Students receive CO grading in the fall and a letter grade and earned credit in the spring.
