Semester course; 1 lecture hour (delivered online). 1 credit. This course will introduce students to the profession of dentistry. Dental health practitioners will promote and reinforce dentistry as a career. The course provides didactic information in lectures that familiarize pre-dental students with the practice of dentistry as well as the requirements expected of successful candidates to these programs. Students will hear from general dentists and dental specialists, and develop an application portfolio using customized feedback.
