Modern Dance Technique II.

Catalog description

Semester course; 6 studio hours. 3 credits. May be repeated for a maximum of 12 credits toward graduation with the recommendation of the department chair. Prerequisite: DANC 102 or by departmental approval. Corequisite: DANC 110 . Enrollment is restricted to dance majors. Further study and training in the principles of modern dance technique on an intermediate level with the expectation of better coordination of all elements into a sense of dance. The course includes weekly group exploration of techniques related to all areas of dance.
