Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online). 3 credits. Prerequisite: BNFO 201 , CLSE 115 , CMSC 210 , CMSC 254 , EGRB 215 or INFO 202 with a minimum grade of C. Introduction to data science skills. The course introduces students to the foundations of data science and the tools used to collect, analyze and represent data. Students will apply these principles in both analysis and visualization projects. The course is not applicable for credit toward any core courses in the major in the College of Engineering.
