Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. This course offers an introduction to common process analytical instrumentation used in industrial research and development and manufacturing for process monitoring and development and product quality control. Students will gain practical lab experience and get to know state-of-the-art process analytical technology. Students will also gain a better understanding of technology principles and crystallization process design, and develop new perspectives, including preventing common mistakes, on data collection (e.g., sampling), data comprehension and data analysis (e.g., chemometrics, imaging analysis).
