Semester course; 2 lecture hours. 2 credits. Concurrent prerequisite: CLRS 303 . Corequisite: CLRZ 321 . Presents the physical principles of atomic structure, electromagnetic spectrum, units of measurement, radioactive decay and attenuation in matter. Operation of radiation equipment will include statistical applications and quality control procedures.
