Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online or face-to-face). 3 credits. This course provides an overview of diversity in age, religion, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation and gender identity in society. Students will examine how human relationships are influenced from an intersectional perspective, including the impact of historical and current individual, interpersonal, intergroup, institutional, structural, and systemic factors. Graded as pass/fail.
