Legal Environment of Business.

Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. Enrollment is restricted to students who have achieved sophomore standing. The course teaches students to recognize legal issues in a business context, with emphasis on understanding the American legal system, entering and understanding contracts, common legal issues facing businesses and ethical decision-making. Students may not receive degree credit for both BUSN 323 and ACCT/MGMT 481. The course was formerly numbered MGMT 323 and SCMA 323.
