Theory and Literature in Art Education.

Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online or face-to-face). 3 credits. The class is designed to enhance students' understanding and skills in conducting a systematic literature review. Students will engage with a wide range of issues and literature in the field of art education, while also delving into a topic of their interest. Students will also develop an overview of the history of art education as well as an understanding of the major roles that theory plays in the crafting of literature within the field, including the roles of conceptual and theoretical frameworks in conducting research.
