Semester course; 4 laboratory hours. 2 credits. May be repeated for a maximum of eight credits toward graduation. Enrollment is restricted to music majors and to non-music majors and students enrolled in music minors by audition. Developing collaborative piano skills by participating in various size ensembles. Audition required for non-music majors and music minors. During the fall semester the emphasis of the course will be on studying and performing the literature exclusively for piano (piano- four hands, piano-six hands, two pianos). During the spring semester the emphasis will be on studying and performing literature where piano shares leading or equal role with other instruments.
