Semester course; 4 laboratory hours. 2 credits. Open to piano majors. Audition required for piano minors and non-music majors. The development of skills in instrumental and vocal accompaniment. Emphasis on the aspects of artistic collaboration that include balancing of the parts, exploration of sound color, expression, and strategies of score preparation and reduction.
