Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. May be repeated for a maximum of six credits toward graduation. Prerequisite: AMST/ GSWS 312 or by permission of the instructor. In-depth research of contexts for a particular health, health systems, community health or wellness issue (or set of issues) from multiple perspectives, using interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary approaches, prioritizing humanities approaches. Students will apply health humanities skills to complete a capstone assignment, building on community-facing activities and research. Topics vary by section.
