Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. Effective, culturally-responsive and sustaining leadership practices and approaches are grounded in relationship, creativity, innovation and management with a clear understanding of human behavior and social processes. This course is about people in organizations and social institutions. It is designed to push student thinking around leadership that is focused on empathy, trust and care. Students will seek to investigate the relationships between the individual and society by examining critical social and race theory, social justice and social determinants of well-being. Graded as pass/fail.
