Catalog description

Semester course; 3 lecture hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. The course introduces the principles and practices of performance improvement with a focus on online learning environments for adult learners. Students will explore how to identify and analyze performance gaps, determine root causes and design effective interventions to improve performance in individual and organizational contexts. Emphasis is placed on understanding the relationship between instructional design and performance improvement, selecting appropriate performance solutions, and applying foundational tools used in the field. Through applied projects and online discussions, students will develop practical skills for designing and supporting performance improvement initiatives in workplace and educational settings.
