Development and change of general values, attitudes, and social policy related to children. Parenting practices, the nature and extent of juvenile delinquency, theories of childhood, delinquency and the delinquent are studied, with special emphasis on the juvenile justice system in the USA. Prerequisite: SOCI 101 .
