This is a senior-level class on epistemology, a field of philosophical inquiry that addresses the study of the nature of knowledge. The course will cover a number of issues in epistemology, such as: the analysis of knowledge; skepticism; the structure of justification; relevance of gender and race to understanding and the ethics of belief; contextualism; epistemological methodology.
