Catalog description

This course examines the effects of social, cultural, economic, legal and political factors affecting healthcare delivery and practice. Resources and best practice methods for financing healths services are identified. Healthcare reimbursement principles as related to the delivery of cost effective healthcare services in a variety of settings will be discussed. Legislative processes on the state and national level are examined.\ Prerequisite: NURS 420 , 421 , 422 .
