This course focuses on the wellness-illness continuum across the lifespan with an emphasis on disease processes and the body's response to illness, Principles of genetics and genomics in relation to health are examined. Disease prevention, early diagnosing and rehabilitation strategies are analyzed to achieve optimal outcomes among individuals, families and groups. Prerequisite: NURS 323 , 324 .
