NURS 322 Theoretical Foundations - 3 semester hours This course reviews models, concepts, and theories that serve as the basis for professional nursing. The RN will demonstrate an understanding of nursing theorists approach to patient centered care across the lifespan in diverse settings. Historical, legal, cultural, economic and social factors that affect nursing and healthcare delivery are analyzed. The RN will develop a framework for future nursing practice. Prerequisite: Admissions to the program.
