Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare students for an immersive learning experience within the Virginia Community College System (VCCS), demonstrating competency in a pre-licensure nursing program. Through supervised instruction, students will engage in hands-on learning in nursing readiness, and exploration of strategies for engaging in concept-based nursing education. This course focuses on developing critical thinking skills and clinical reasoning to enhance their readiness for professional nursing practice. Prerequisite: Admission to Reynolds AAS Nursing program Special Restrictive Elective The course is taught asynchronously online. Textbook and Required Materials: American Psychological Association. (2020). Publication manual of the American Psychological Association Additional resources for each session topic will be provided in advance of each session date.
