An introduction to synthesizer programming, sampling, audio processing, and MIDI with a focus on history, theory, and application. Coursework includes synthesizer programming with virtual instruments, basic sampling techniques with software samplers, audio manipulation techniques within the context of contemporary music production, and MIDI sequencing within digital audio workstations (DAWs).
