The basic principles of managing the workforce are covered in this course. Topics such as recruitment and selection, employee training, performance evaluation, compensation, occupational safety and health, equal employment opportunity and employment discrimination policies as well as retirement and pension issues will be discussed. Prerequisite: COBU 302 .
