Catalog description

Students obtain working knowledge of the terminology, concepts and procedures used by hospitality managers in developing information and making decisions relevant to forecasting and controlling human resource requirements. Major topics: staff planning, budgeting, scheduling and payroll, control collective bargaining consideration, productivity, human behavior, job design, recruitment, selection and retention system. Prerequisite: Senior standing HMGT 303 Hospitality Law and Ethics.
