Catalog description

The course investigates factors related to the development of lifestyles and families. Consideration is given to current issues relating to marriage and family life and those changes in society, which affect the institution of the family. The course explores concepts related to family planning and the relationship of sexual attitudes and behavior to human development and sexuality. Special emphasis on economic, social, cultural, legal, and political factors, which influence decisions, related to family planning, sexual behavior, and attitudes. Open to non-majors.
